How it works
How to convert FLV to MP3
Add your files
Drop FLV files into the box above, or press Choose files. You can add as many as you like.
Wait a moment
Only the sound is read from each video, so even long recordings convert quickly. Each MP3 is made on your device as soon as you add the video.
Download
Save each file on its own, or download everything at once as a ZIP file.
Why
Why convert FLV to MP3?
Old Flash videos no longer play in browsers or on phones. Extracting the audio as MP3 saves the sound in a format that will keep working.

About the formats
What is FLV?
FLV is the Flash Video format that YouTube and most video sites used until the early 2010s. Flash is gone, so FLV files saved back then rarely play anywhere. The audio inside, usually MP3 or AAC, can still be extracted.
What is MP3?
MP3 is the most widely supported audio format in the world. It uses lossy compression to make files roughly a tenth the size of uncompressed audio. At 192 kbps or higher most listeners cannot tell it apart from the original.
Questions
Questions and answers
Is it safe to convert my files here?
Yes. ConvertOrino converts your files with code that runs in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, nobody else can see your files, and they are gone as soon as you close the page.
Are the title, artist and album kept?
Yes. Tags such as title, artist, album and year are copied to the new file wherever the format can store them. Embedded cover art is not copied.
Is the FLV to MP3 tool free?
Yes, completely free. There is no sign up, no watermark and no limit on the number of files.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit, because your own device does the work. Very large files are limited by the memory of your device. Phones handle files of a few hundred megabytes, computers handle much more.
Does it work on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows?
Yes. It works in any modern browser, including Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox, on phones, tablets and computers. Nothing needs to be installed.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, the conversion works without an internet connection, which also proves that your files are not sent anywhere.
